“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up: That whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:14-15
This is the time when we deliberately look at Jesus Christ and seek God's face by faith. Those who are struck by the poison of deadly sin must look to Christ by faith. Then you are free from sin. Looking at Jesus Christ is an antidote. The Israelites who saw the brass serpent by faith in the wilderness experienced physical healing and emancipation. When we look at the Savior on the cross, we receive eternal life as a gift. Jesus is the source of our life. Living by faith is constantly looking at Christ.
“It is the great privilege of our lives that we love and serve Jesus."
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship him.” (John 4:23) This is the time to worship God in spirit and in truth, to proclaim the Word in which the gospel of Christ is revealed, and to deeply meet Jesus as a prayer. Jesus gave us overflowing love and life through His cross. He gave us his best. Like Mary, who washed Jesus' feet with tears, breaking the alabaster jar of perfume, we also want to live a life of giving the best to the Lord as a worshiper. It is the great privilege of our lives that we love and serve Jesus.
“We want our church to have a revelation of the glory of Jesus on the cross."
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD. (2 Cor. 3:18) We want our church to have a revelation of the glory of Jesus on the cross. When we look at the glory of Christ, the Lord's Church will be transformed from glory to glory. It will be time to hear and obey the Holy Spirit to the Church. So we want all the saints to be filled with the Holy Spirit. The work done through the cross of Jesus will be fulfilled. It is forgiving us and giving us restoration and perfection.
